Well, we happened to be in town today to get supplies for our house project (oh darn). I used the trip as as excuse to run over to Walgreens where I bought this:
2 – Des Moines Registers because the coupons in the Quad City Times and the Muscatine Journal pretty much stink – $2 ea
1 – Go! Kids Mutlitvitamins (free of dyes & artifical flavors & preservatives) – $5 with 5RR
I paid $3.35 OOP (out of pocket) and used $6RR and got back $5RR for the vitamins. The kids approve of the vitamins so I may go back for more next time I find myself in town.
If anyone is looking for a cheap way to buy coupons, using RR from Walgreesn or ECBs from CVS is a good way to do it.

Ok. I'm going to try this super couponing thing. I have the DM register.
I am going to start slow though, and watching your blog for tips because I'm not good at this. And I'm skeptical of the people who say they got $150 worth of groceries for $12.32!
I keep hearing that this works best with stores that do double coupons. I haven't seen a store do this for decades. Is there even a store that has a double coupon day anymore? around here?
Michele – K-Mart does every once in a while, but they have put so many restrictions on it now that it's no fun anymore. Jewel doesn't do double coupons, but they have catalina deals (essentially the same thing as RR – spend $30 on participating products for example and get $15 back) where it is possible to get $150 worth of groceries for $20 or so from time to time. And that's when I drive to Moline and spend a few hours in the store. Next time they have a great deal, I'll post about it for sure!
Thanks Michelle…it's fun to have a fellow couponer =) Have you been to CVS this week, it's been a decent week. I bought some coupons on Ebay for the Finish so I hope I get them before the stock runs out in stores. I've been to two and they both had a ton. I got the free vitamins as well at Walgreens along with the 25 cent boxes of Special K.
I have not been to CVS yet this week, Lisa, but plan on going… I don't have any more finish coupons. I was able to find them all at WAGS, probably b/c the local papers didn't have the coupons in them. I do want to do the Maalox deal and a couple others. I need to get a CVS post up so I can have it all figured out. This blog helps me in more ways than you know!
I only had two coupons for the Finish and used them at WAGS but I ordered more on Saturday and they were in today's mail!! I'm super excited that they are already here
I did the Maalox, I ended up getting two Maalox and one gas-x. I always wonder what my poor baby sitter thinks when she looks in our cabinets
