Nordic Naturals recently sent me two bottles of their Omega 3 fish oil to try out, and I have to say I am impressed. I’ve taken a lot of fish oil before, but normally I have to take it at night so I’m not burping up nasty fish oil taste all day long. To put the Nordic Natural fish oil to the test, I decided to take it first thing in the morning. I’m proud to report, not once did I burp up nasty fish oil taste! That’s huge in my book.
Additionally, Nordic Natural prides itself on its pure product. Fish has, and rightly so, earned a bad rap for high levels of mercury and other toxins. Nordic Natural’s award winning products are evaluated by third party testing to insure purity. The Ultimate Omega 3 soft gels support strong immune function and bone health and are natural triglycerides. This is pretty important for a lot of people who have fatty acid imbalances. Omega 3s are vital for ultimate health and unfortunately, the standard American diet has too many Omega 6s and not enough Omega 3s. Nordic Naturals also make fabulous products for kids. My kids take their chewable strawberry flavored Children’s DHA without a fight. They go back on forth on likely/disliking the taste, but they are very easy to swallow so if they don’t want to taste the soft gel, they just swallow them. Even my 4 year old is able to swallow this soft gel without difficulty. I was surprised to learn that they make products for pets, too!
