Kerry from City Kids Homeschooling contacted me a few weeks ago and asked if I’d write a guest post for her blog about our homeschooling efforts, and I did!
Kerry’s blog showcases her family’s homeschooling exploits. She is “an urban, secular homeschooling mom from Cambridge who loves her city adventures with her husband and three young children.”
We share home-birthing experience and both practice attachment parenting, as well as both being homeschooling parents. Kerry has a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University, where she studied education administration, planning, and social policy, and she shares that practical experience with her blog readers. I love her post on embracing natural self-reliance and trusting her own ability to provide for her family’s education, health, and natural learning.
If you’re curious about my guest post, pop on over and take a look! I shared the book I read that convinced me to give homeschooling a shot and talked a bit about the difficult decision my husband and I made to leave the security of the military and embrace our own natural self-reliance!
