I did another lousy job of sticking to the weekly menu I chose last week. This is what I had planned:
tacos {with taco meat from my freezer}- taco pizza {with leftover taco meat & pizza dough from my freezer}
- broccoli garlic quiche {extra for the freezer}
grilled chicken- stir fry {with veggies from my garden & leftover grilled chicken}
- stuffed peppers {extra for my freezer}
chicken oreganato {from my freezer}This is the first time I’ve actually made this meal from my freezer and it was really, really good! I was happy with the way the potatoes turned out.
This is what we ate instead {in addition to the crossed out ones above}:
- Potluck family birthday party
- Eggs & Bacon
- Taco Soup
This week I’m getting ready to make a new monthly plan for October. I started an October meal board on Pinterest and I’m adding recipes as I find things I’d like to make. I’m also getting my lists ready for my big Once a Month Shopping Trip early next week. I’m excited about Costco and my Azure Standard order.

Nothing wrong with a potluck especially when the dishes are tasty.
I’m always interested in some new recipes to add to my Recipe File Box. That’s why I love MPM!
Looks like there’s going to be lots of yummy meals eaten this week.
I love freezer cooking! I haven’t done much in the past month but I need to get back in it.
Your menu looks great and each meal looks easy to throw together… that’s my kind of supper!

It’s good to see that even you are unable to follow a well laid out plan!
Probably one of the reason why my meal planning days didn’t last long.
Hehe!! I do like a framework, but if I told you I was a master at following my own best laid plans, I’d totally be a liar.
We had this tonight…. It is super-easy and freezes well.

That looks really good! Pinned it to my October meal board! Thanks for sharing, Laura.
