We are finally back home after having been gone for over 3 weeks of the last 5. I hope we get to stay longer than 6 days this time…
I haven’t had to make much of menu in quite some time, so it’s time to get back into the routine. Here’s what I’m planning this week, as we continue to eat from the freezer and pantry.
Breakfasts ~
- German Pancakes with fresh fruit
- Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits with Homemade Granola
- French Toast
- Toast & Smoothies
- Eggs & Bacon
Breakfast recipes can be found on my Favorite Breakfast Pinterest Board.
Lunches ~
- Leftovers
- Bean Burritos
- PB & J
Dinners ~
- Beef Kabobs with Roasted Veggies
- Lasagna {extra for the freezer}
- Creamy Broccoli & Carrot Soup with Crusty Bread
- Garlicky Chicken & Broccoli Noodles
- Chinese Feast to celebrate the end of the Chinese New Year
- Homemade Gyros with Greek Fries
Wishing you a great week in the kitchen! What’s one thing you plan to cook this week?

Jon and I have been having weekly “Romantic Dinner Date Nights”. This week I’m making leek and wild mushroom ravioli.. Mmmm. I can’t wait!
Romantic Dinner Date Nights sound fun! We did that in December for Dan’s birthday. Sent the kids upstairs and had a nice meal!
Welcome home! I’m sure you’re glad to get off that roller coaster ride you’ve been on. Looks like a great week of eating. This morning I made a smoothie with apricots, banana and kale cubes – all from the freezer. Might just have to have another one tomorrow.
Yum! I’ll have to consider freezing kale this year. I had sooo much of it last year that just went to waste. I thought about freezing it, but never got around to it. This year I won’t plant as much. Unfortunately, I’m not off my roller coaster yet – probably heading back down to Missouri very soon.
Must feel good to be back home and cooking again!
It is nice to be back home! Now if I could just get a sister-wife, I might be able to get more done! LOL!!
