As seems to be normal for me, we did not eat everything on the menu last week. I also didn’t get as much in the freezer as I had hoped. I only made one Italian Zucchini Pie and we ate almost all the bread, so I’m going to have to bake this week again. It seems we’re eating more and more around here as the kids get older. They’ve always been good eaters, but my word. They can devour 5 pounds of fruit in one day. !
Here’s the plan this week:
Muffins – extra mix for the freezer
German Pancakes with homemade buttermilk syrup
Yogurt and granola
Cinnamon Zucchini Waffles (from the freezer)
Scones – extra mix for the freezer

Subway – A & C were top readers for the summer reading program and won free Subs!
Cheesy noodles, sliced veggies
Crackers & Hummus, veggies, fruit
Homemade Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese
Buttery Zucchini & Ground Beef, No Mayo Cole Slaw
Layered Chicken Quesadillas (with left over grilled chicken)
Crockpot Sausage and Cabbage, fried potatoes
Tacos (extra meat for the freezer) on homemade tortillas (dough from my freezer)
Pesto chicken pasta (extra pesto for the freezer)
Crockpot Pork Ribs & homemade baked beans (extra beans for the freezer)
Homemade Mediterranean Pizza (thanks for the idea, Cara!), Greek Salad (extra pizza dough for the freezer)
Extras: Granola! And, it’s time to can tomatoes. I don’t have a lot, but I have a big enough batch right now to make a bit. I’m pondering spaghetti sauce this year. Have any of you ever canned spaghetti sauce?
